Some 900 very special people descended on the campus of Clayton State University today for the 12th Annual Very Special Arts Festival (VSAF).

The VSAF was organized by the Music Therapy Department of the Clayton County School System and featured approximately 800 children from Clayton and Henry counties as well 100 volunteers. The event gives children with special needs the opportunity to display visual arts they have created in their classrooms, create new art pieces on site at art booths and perform on stage for their peers. The theme of the 2006 Festival was “Jungle Jam.”

For further information on the VSAF, contact the Music Therapy Department of the Clayton County Public Schools at 770-472-8473.
