Henry Medical Center named Rev. Steve Austin as hospital Chaplain and manager of Pastoral Care Services. Rev. Austin has worked as a Presbyterian pastor (currently serving Riverdale Presbyterian church part-time) for the past 25 years, while working fulltime as a hospital Chaplain for the past 10 years. Rev. Austin and his wife live in Newton County and have two sons.

Rev. Austin will be working to grow the Volunteer Chaplain program. The hospital will also be offering advanced training in pastoral care giving through a Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) program that will begin later this summer. Any area clergy and laypersons who are interested in learning more about these programs are encouraged to contact Rev.
