PFH Welcomes New Director of Women’s Services |

Piedmont Fayette Hospital named Earlie Rockette, RN, as director of women’s services. Rockette is responsible for overseeing the development of OB services at Piedmont Fayette.
Rockette has extensive experience in the area of women’s health. For more than 20 years, she has served in clinical and managerial roles in the Southeast in women’s services. She is a certified nurse practitioner in women’s health. Rockette has a Master of Science in Perinatal/Neonatal Nursing from Emory University.
“I’m excited about developing a program that includes health care services for women, including OB services,” says Earlie.
Piedmont Fayette Hospital’s Women Services is expanding to include OB services. The hospital plans to begin delivering babies in September of 2006 in a seven-bed obstetrics unit with three labor, delivery and recovery suites and two cesarean-section suites. In addition, the unit will have triage spaces for obstetrics patients, a nine-bassinet general-care nursery and a five-bassinet specialty-care nursery.
