Three Providers from the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Sports Medicine Program Earn Sought-After Certification
Keith May, Tim Johnson and Scott Freedman, physical therapists (PTs) with the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Sports Medicine Program, have earned their Sports Specialist Certification (SCS) from the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). According to APTA, there are currently only 14 PTs in the state of Georgia who have earned this prestigious certification.
“APTA’s Sports Specialist Certification program provided me with advanced clinical skills to provide better care for our patients,” said Keith May, PT, certified athletic trainer and clinical site manager of Children’s Sports Medicine at Meridian Mark (adjacent to Children’s at Scottish Rite).
