SRMC’s NICU Team Named “Best in the Southeast” |

Southern Regional’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) was recently selected by the Southeast Region of Advance for Nurses magazine as the “2006 Nursing Team of the Year” and graced the cover of the magazine’s May issue. The dedicated NICU team is the only Level III facility in Atlanta's south metro area.
Deborrah Furse, BSN, RNC, Southern Regional’s Director of the NICU, is responsible for authoring the award-winning essay that details just a few of the tireless initiatives of these dedicated professionals and the contributions they make to improving the quality of life of prematurely born infants and their families. According to Furse, it is an honor to work with such a dedicated team.
